Report an Error

DoctorLicensePro strives for accuracy. All data is sourced from public government databases (CMS NPPES and state medical boards). If you believe any information displayed on this site is inaccurate, please contact us with the details below.

How to Request a Correction

Email us at corrections@doctorlicensepro.com with:

  • The physician's full name and NPI number
  • The URL of the page with the error
  • A description of what is inaccurate
  • Supporting documentation (if available)

What We Can Correct

  • Name spelling or formatting errors
  • Incorrect specialty classification
  • Outdated practice address or phone number
  • License status that does not match state board records

What We Cannot Correct

Because our data comes from government sources, some changes require updating the source data directly:

  • NPI information — Update via the NPPES portal
  • License status — Contact your state medical board directly

We refresh data from NPPES weekly and state boards monthly. Corrections made at the source will automatically update on our site.

Response Time

We review all correction requests within 5 business days. If the correction requires a source data update, we will provide instructions on how to update the original record.
